Vanessa is a kind spirit and a warm soul during a time of difficulty and anxiety. She eased my mind during my grandma’s hospitalization. Not only did she care for my grandma, but she took care of me as well. She is extremely warm, attentive, and very hands-on.

I felt safe just being in her presence. My grandma being in the hospital is hard, but people like Vanessa help alleviate stress, worry, and anxiety. After a long night of caring for my grandma together, she went out of her way to provide me with the finest 5-star meal one can have- a cafeteria sandwich, jello, crackers, and juice. I mentioned to her that all I had eaten in 48 hours was a donut and a slice of cafeteria lasagna.

She didn’t have to provide me such kindness, but I am grateful that she did. Caring for people is a difficult job that not everyone can do. Vanessa makes it look easy and never makes you feel like a burden. I am glad that despite my grandma being in the hospital, I was fortunate to meet someone as caring and welcoming as her. Vanessa’s kindness will not be forgotten.
