Desah, I just would like to thank you for being a blessing in our lives and for how much you are appreciated. The time you spent explaining how everything is working with my new kidney. Understanding me as a person and not just as a patient. Desah, you are a true angel to me, and I am grateful to you more than words can express. Few people (doctors) possess the considerate, unselfish, loving heart that you have, and even fewer are willing to go that extra mile. I just want to thank you for your kindness on being a wonderful, amazing spirit and knowing how to break the fear when I was worried about my new kidney not working. Just that extra positive sunshine that you gave me in my time of worry relaxed my fear. There should be other doctors who carry your bedside manner in friendliness. My sister and I are blessed to have met you during our hard days. Importantly, I would like her to know that explaining how not to touch my kidney with medication made us understand the effects it would have. Asking me if I was in pain, or, more generally, how I was feeling, was comforting. Your lovely smile made some of my hardest days better. Desah is a dedicated person who can make a big impact even with just a small action or a few words. She is someone who improves the lives of others.
