As a nurse myself, it is very hard to have any sort of medical procedure or to go into the hospital for anything. I think as a nurse, you know too much, and it creates a lot of anxiety for me. I came in for my third baby and had Kayla as my labor and delivery nurse. As soon as she came in, I could tell that she was confident in her skill. Something, as a nurse, that you want to see! Every step of the way she was keeping me informed I felt like I was her only patient.

Anything I needed, she brought to me and was there for every turn, Pitocin change, and contraction. She was cool, calm, and collected with my physician and was so in sync with her. She and the physician worked so well together, you could tell they had done this hundreds of times! Kayla was an awesome nurse and even scooped me up in the Sarah Steady to bring me to my new room on postpartum as my legs were still jelly. She offered me meds when I needed them, as I had quite the issue with vomiting, post-delivery. I could tell the entire time I was in such good hands.
