Alysia provided extraordinary, compassionate, and life-changing care to both my baby and me during one of the most frightening experiences of my life. During my daughter’s delivery, we encountered multiple complications—she had the cord around her neck, she had an infection, and there was concern she might need to be transferred out.

In the midst of all this uncertainty, Alysia stepped in with unwavering confidence, skill, and compassion. I have worked with her before and witnessed her handle difficult situations with babies, but seeing her care for my own newborn when she was unstable left an unforgettable impact. Her clinical excellence alone is above and beyond,  but what makes her truly remarkable is her heart.

At one point, she walked into my room, immediately sensed something was wrong, and didn’t hesitate to be there for me—not just as a patient, but as a person. She let me cry, hugged me, and gave me exactly the emotional support I needed when I was overwhelmed and terrified. That moment of compassion will stay with me forever. Alysia exemplifies what nursing is meant to be. She is skilled, intuitive, calm under pressure, and incredibly caring.

She made one of the hardest days of my life, one of the best, and I will always be grateful for the way she cared for my baby and for me.
