The day I decided to check myself in due to mental health issues, I was really scared to the point where I was going to cry and freak out again. When I was introduced to Nurse Ann, she made sure I was safe and always said to me, “You are going to be okay, hun. Once the doctor has you on the right medication, you will feel much better. I promise you, don’t worry about anything!”

It's now 2 days since I have been here, and I have learned a lot about my mental health diagnosis. I feel a lot better after getting 12 hours of proper rest and eating full meals to regain my strength. I would love to nominate Nurse Ann for the DAISY Award for all of her kindness and compassion towards me, making sure I am getting all my nutrients and the rest I desperately need after barely sleeping for two days. Ann is the best nurse I've ever had. And due to all the progress of bettering my mental health, the doctor said I am well enough to be discharged tomorrow. I am so excited to go back home and get back to my regular routines. Thank you all, and God bless.
