Regarding Florence, I only have positive words to describe her. From the first day I met her, I had a good feeling about Flo. She had a very calm and caring demeanor. She took time to listen to me and made sure I understood what was at each particular moment. She provides great patient care!

She asked me quite often, "How are you feeling? Do you need pain medication?" Flo is very easy to talk to and ask a question. She never displayed impatience or frustration when we asked a question. I sure had some questions displaying our lack of knowledge. I tripped the alarm on my monitor multiple times, of course, I did by accident. The IV started leaking in my right arm. That had to be my fault; Flo never lost patience or even implied that it was my fault and that I should be more careful.

She simply took care of me. I was feeling very bad and in a lot of pain. I didn't need somebody getting frustrated with me. I needed Florence!. She was wonderful. She demonstrates the qualities of a true nurse; medical knowledge, empathy, patience, and caring.
