I would like to recognize Markus for the exceptional care he provided to my husband in the Emergency Room. Holidays can already be stressful, and being in the ER that day added to my anxiety. From the moment he took over my husband's care, he immediately put my mind at ease. 

I have a lot of anxiety, and was incredibly patient, calm, and reassuring. He took the time to explain everything clearly, answered all of my questions without making me feel rushed, and made sure I truly understood what was happening. His communication and bedside manner were outstanding. 

He took excellent care of my husband and demonstrated exactly what the nursing code of ethics strives to be: compassionate, competent, respectful, and patient-centered. He was clearly very knowledgeable and confident in his skills, which gave me so much peace during a very scary situation. I genuinely felt my husband was in the best hands. 

On a day he could have simply done the bare minimum because of the holiday, he went above and beyond. His kindness, professionalism, and dedication made a lasting impact on my family, and we are incredibly grateful for the care he provided.
