Jen is the kind of nurse who changes lives.
My grandmother, who is almost 83 years old, has been hospitalized. Watching her go through this has been one of the hardest experiences of my life. There were days filled with fear, exhaustion, and uncertainty, and many moments when our family felt emotionally drained and overwhelmed. Jen was a light during one of the darkest times our family has ever faced.

From the moment she stepped in, she did something no one else had done: she truly listened. She listened to our fears, our questions, and our concerns, and she responded with patience, compassion, and genuine care. She never made us feel like a burden or an interruption. Instead, she made us feel seen, heard, and supported. Jen treated my grandmother with extraordinary kindness and dignity. She focused on her comfort in a way that went far beyond routine care, and it was clear that she genuinely cared about her as a person. The way Jen spoke to her and advocated for her comfort meant everything to us. She also cared deeply about our family, checking in on us and acknowledging how emotionally difficult this journey was.

When Jen was there, the room felt calmer. Her presence brought reassurance and peace during moments when we felt helpless. She gave us strength when we didn’t think we had any left. Because of Jen, we felt less alone. Jen didn’t just care for my grandmother; she cared for our family. She went far beyond what is expected of a nurse, and her compassion, empathy, and humanity will stay with us forever. Jen is the kind of nurse who changes lives.
