Her clinical skills are outstanding, and her willingness to share her expertise is invaluable.
On one particularly busy night, she demonstrated extraordinary dedication, teamwork, and reliability. Despite the overwhelming workload, Ms. Sunshine consistently helped her colleagues with their tasks, ensuring everyone stayed afloat. She not only completed her won responsibilities but also actively should out ways to assist others, going above and beyond for the team.
One thing that sets Sunny apart is her eagerness to tackle difficult IV starts and other challenging tasks. She never hesitates to volunteer for the most demanding assignments, stepping up when others might shy away. Her clinical skills are outstanding, and her willingness to share her expertise is invaluable.
As a charge nurse, Sunshine is always vigilant, keeping track of patients’ needs while looking out for her fellow nurses. She gently reminds everyone of pending tasks and ensures nothing falls through the cracks. Her support and leadership on a chaotic night helped maintain order and patient safety, and she does it all with compassion and humility.
Ms. Sushine embodies the true spirit of nursing and is a role model for all. She is highly deserving of this DAISY Award for her unwavering commitment to her patients and colleagues.

This is not just one story; this nurse acts consistently in the matter every night I work with her. I really enjoy working with Sunshine. She is one of the few nurses who always has my back. She is smart, observant, and definitely not lazy.
The moment she hits the floor, she takes her job very seriously. She genuinely cares to see patients improve and staff succeed. She’s always offering help, she’s like a loving mother at times helping yo not forget tasks to be done, as there are duties and charting that can easily be forgotten.
In addition to that, she makes me and others laugh often with some of her stories. For many of us, that little bit of laughter makes us look forward to spending the next night of work together. I actually enjoy coming to work when I know she’s here.
