Hello, I wanted to tell someone about one of your nurses, Samantha Garcia. I hope I'm saying this right. I want to nominate her for the DAISY Award. You know, I'll be 82 next month, and I've been in and out of the hospital a few times this past year, so I've seen my share of nurses. But I have to tell you, Sam is just so special. She is, without a doubt, the best nurse I have ever had in all my years. She was like an angel, there just to help me. The way she handled everything, with such grace, made me feel like I really mattered. She took the time to just sit and talk with me, and her personality is just amazing. The way she talked to me was so special, and she gives off such a wonderful, positive energy. I know the unit was busy, Lord knows it was, but she never once made me feel rushed. She took such good care of me, and I truly believe she helped me heal. If I asked for something and she couldn't do it herself, she made darn sure someone else did. I just can't say enough about her. Your hospital is so lucky to have a nurse like that. What an experience to be cared for by someone so wonderful. She is simply amazing.
