We would like to nominate Jen for the DAISY Award for the incredible care and compassion she showed us during the most heartbreaking time of our lives. We lost our baby boy at 40 weeks pregnant, and Jen went above and beyond to make an unimaginable experience more bearable. From the moment she entered our room, she showed us not only medical professionalism but genuine humanity and empathy. She was there for us every step of the way, offering comfort, helping us through each moment, and anticipating our needs before we even had to ask. Her calm presence, gentle words, and unwavering support gave us strength when we had none. Jen didn't just care for us as patients; she cared for us as people. She treated our son and our family with such dignity and compassion that we will never forget. In the midst of our grief, she made sure we felt seen, heard, and cared for. We will forever be grateful for the light she brought into such a dark moment. Jen is the true definition of what it means to be a nurse, and she deserves this recognition for the extraordinary kindness and care she gives from her heart.

For providing my daughter and her husband with the best care. This completely unexpected event of losing their baby boy at birth was so hard to even process, but Jennifer was there to guide them with sincerity, patience, and guidance, and was what they needed at that moment. She made them feel loved and comforted during one of the worst times in their life. She was so helpful in guiding them through the process and didn't make them feel abandoned or helpless. She made sure the grandparents also had whatever they needed. Most of all, she cried with them, compassionately.
