My husband had been on hospice for nine weeks at the Tomah VA, and let me just say that everyone on the 401 unit gave him excellent, compassionate care and I would love to nominate them all, but there is one special nurse that I want to nominate that went above and beyond, taking the time to be with us and really explain things to me and our family. Laura helped us navigate the feelings and the space between holding on and letting go, and I will always be grateful for that.
