Jessica was such a ray of sunshine and a source of peace for me during my labor and delivery. She handled my admission while I was 8cm dilated, and she was so calm and efficient with all of her tasks.

She was extremely empowering and encouraging throughout my labor. I would often look to her to confirm I was having a contraction because I automatically trusted her and valued how strongly she focused on me and my needs. I know she is a mom of 3, so I was beyond touched when she stayed two hours past her shift because she wanted to be around on my son’s birthday. I know this was a consecutive shift for her, and I’m sure she was exhausted and wanting to get back to her family, but I was so appreciative of her kindness and generosity.

She made me feel so supported. I’m so grateful to have had Jessica as my nurse as a first-time mom. I was anxious over the delivery process, but it really wasn’t bad and that has a lot to do with Jessica! I’m so grateful for her & will always remember her. I can’t wait to tell my son about her. She really reminded me of the value of putting others' needs before your own. I am so grateful to have been in her care!
