My mom had a hip replacement and returned to her room after 10:00 pm. Aylin was assigned to her room. I witnessed the extraordinary care Aylin provided for my mom while I was staying overnight in her room.

As my mom was recovering from the anesthesia, the impact on her personality was extremely challenging. She was very difficult and a 360 in personality from the typical role model that she is. She is a beloved minister and volunteer to many in the community. It was a highly difficult situation with a patient recovering from anesthesia; she was determined to leave the hospital.

She was disoriented and non-cooperative. Aylin was truly a “role model” for patient care. She was committed to ensuring patient protocols were delivered and remained empathetic, persistent, and committed to delivering the best patient outcome possible. I was in awe of her professionalism, kindness, and no matter what curve balls were thrown at her, she was steadfast, and it was truly evident she wanted the best possible care for my mom, and once the anesthesia wore off and she (mom) returned to her normal personality.

Mom is feeling amazing, and she also has no recollection of the challenges she faced as a patient while recovering from the anesthesia. I am truly so grateful. Aylin was amazing! She truly was a gift from God.
