I am nominating this professor for The DAISY Award for Extraordinary Nurse Educators because she is one of the most compassionate and caring educators I have ever met. She truly loves teaching, and it shows in everything she does. This professor always goes out of her way to make sure her students understand the material and feel supported—both in the classroom and in their personal lives.

She is incredibly flexible and patient, always willing to work with students’ needs and schedules. If someone is struggling, she doesn’t judge—she encourages. She listens, she cares, and she helps us believe in ourselves. There have been many times when her kindness made a real difference in my day and helped me keep going.

What makes this professor special is not just her knowledge, but the way she teaches with love and respect. She creates a safe space where students feel comfortable asking questions and being themselves. Her passion for nursing and her students’ well-being is inspiring.
