Lucky for me, Jennifer answered the phone when I called for help, and she moved mountains to get me seen four weeks sooner.
I had a rough fall, experienced health challenges related to UTIs, and then I lost my grandmother, who raised me. After something resembling a UTI but not fully confirmed, I found myself frequently seeking help online, in person, and on the phone with healthcare providers and staff.

I was in so much pain that when I finally received a referral to a specialist, I immediately went online and grabbed the first appointment I could find, which was almost five weeks away. I truly had a hard time imagining myself enduring that level of pain for that long.

Lucky for me, Jennifer answered the phone when I called for help, and she moved mountains to get me seen four weeks sooner. I travel frequently for work and have a son who cannot drive yet, so my schedule is incredibly hectic. The thought of traveling in such pain was very overwhelming.

I initially had to accept an appointment scheduled at the same time as a rare basketball game my son was playing in. However, Jennifer kept my information and watched for an opportunity to move my appointment so I would not have to miss it. And she made it happen.

All of this took place during the holiday season, when I was already dealing with closures, and Jennifer was working with limited options as many providers were still on vacation.

It means the world to me that I was able to get answers and relief as soon as possible, thanks to someone who had never even met me. I am sure the other patients in her unit are just as hopeful for help as I was, and I know Jennifer would do the same for all of us while remaining kind, caring, and effective.

The fact that I was able to attend my son’s game meant the world to him as well. I truly believe her actions also supported my mental health during an incredibly stressful time, when I felt like I was facing chronic pain without answers.

I shared the news with my family and friends right away when my appointments were moved up, and we celebrated together.

I am asking you to celebrate Jennifer. She has absolutely earned it.

Thank you so much, Jennifer.
