Thank you, Christina, for giving me some hope when I felt like I did not have any left, and for holding space for me when my grief was completely overwhelming.
Christina is my angel. I have had an extremely rough couple of years medically and emotionally, with multiple surgeries, pain control, many losses in my family, loss of my job, and, most difficult, the loss of my son. My heart has been completely broken, and my spirit lower than it has ever been.

The night that Christina walked into my room to care for and love on me, I was ready to give up and feeling great dispair. I could tell the moment that she walked in that she would help heal my body. She is an authentically kind, knowledgeable, and beautiful nurse and truly my angel. She helped bring life and inspiration back into my heart and mind. She carried her compassion and empathy as if they were so natural and real. Her voice and smile carried the calm steadiness of someone who had seen and felt both pain and healing and was able to hold space for her other patients and me in a safe, honest, and real way.

She met me exactly where I was and had a beautiful understanding of someone who knows that healing is not just physical. She is my true angel in scrubs, and she helped to give me hope and some strength to bring my resilience back to the surface. She understands that emotional and sometimes physical pain do not always completely go away and that it is ok to be angry and sad when we need to, and to keep pushing forward, and to be ok to pause and ask God for help when I feel like I cannot come up for air.

Thank you, Christina, for giving me some hope when I felt like I did not have any left, and for holding space for me when my grief was completely overwhelming. I will hold space in my heart for you as well!
