I was recently a patient at the PA campus for three days. Innocent was my nurse for two nights. The whole was so great, but Innocent stood above the crowd. He did such a great job caring for me. I was so impressed by how he made me feel like I was his only patient. He is a fine young man. I have a colostomy, and he was one of the few nurses who volunteered to empty it for me. I didn't need the help, but it was very meaningful to know he was willing. He really stepped up, made me feel special and like I was the only patient, and I was really cared about. He managed my pain. He got me up and was very careful with all the lines and tubes I had. Before his last shift, as I was going home, he stopped by to say goodbye. I just appreciated the small extra moments he provided that made me feel seen and heard. Innocent deserves to win, and I would like to be notified when he does.
