Tina was an exceptional nurse who made my uncomfortable night after an appendectomy into a wonderful one. She went above and beyond in her care for me, connecting with me on a personal level and making me feel safe. She was great at communicating every care step and explaining the purpose as we tried out different levels of pain medications and tests. Plus, she did all of this throughout a night shift, being there every hour of the night for me as needed, just a moment away. I cannot express my appreciation for Tina enough, as a nurse and as a person. Since I'm the daughter of a nurse myself, I know that Tina exemplifies all of the good qualities that this calling requires and more.
