I was newly diagnosed with an autoimmune disease and was not able to eat with it, along with lots of other complications with that. Maria went above and beyond to make sure I was always comfortable, never without what I needed, and was always so kind and respectful. Maria took time out of her busy schedule to talk with me and make sure I was doing okay mentally, too. She is a fantastic nurse, and Saint Anthony's Memorial Hospital is really lucky to have such a great person employed who makes it more than just a job.
