It is with great admiration and appreciation that I nominate Mandy Black for the DAISY Award. Mandy exemplifies the very best of nursing through her unwavering dedication, leadership, and compassion. As a Manager for the Clinical Education Team, Mandy consistently goes above and beyond. She has single-handedly conducted Clinical Educator Only training classes on pumps and vascular access; critical trainings required for the Educators to support the Salesforce during implementations and conversions. Her ability to deliver high-impact education while maintaining strong, timely pre- and post-class communication is nothing short of remarkable. It should be noted that this training is in addition to her duties as outlined in her job description. Mandy never hesitates to step up, never complains, and always brings a positive, team-focused attitude to everything she does. Her support extends beyond her immediate responsibilities, contributing meaningfully to the company's overall success. Her reliability and effectiveness often leave us wondering if she has a clone, because she accomplishes so much in a work week. I appreciate Mandy’s ability to have crucial conversations, and she shows a strong ability to grow from every challenging situation, which is always a positive contribution to self-development. Mandy’s commitment to excellence, her adaptability, and her genuine care for others make her a true mentor and role model on the Clinical team.
