This was my first extended stay in a hospital, which was also unexpected. Little did I know that I won the “you get the best nurse” award by having Sandra by my side for most of the days! She was like a kindred spirit. We had great conversations, similar personal backgrounds, and we’re both hilarious! She anticipated my needs and took care of them before I even knew it! She answered my many questions with both knowledge and kindness. I couldn’t have asked for better care.
