Jasmine was super sweet and patient with me, did not talk down to me, and was accommodating when I needed anything.  I wear a full-face CPAP mask, and she would take it off every time I wanted a drink.  She didn't rush me when she would give me oral meds and didn't make me feel bad when I asked for IV pain medicine.

She always came in with a smile and a pleasant disposition. In the morning, she always came by to say bye and wish me a nice day!  As a patient with cerebral palsy, I can't do a lot of things for myself and require full assistance. She was excellent at meeting my needs and didn't make me feel like a burden. I sometimes hear from other nurses, "Why do we have to take the total care patient?", but Jasmine wasn't like that.  She provided exceptional care!

One night, another nurse walked into the wrong room and introduced themself to me as my nurse.  I said, "I thought I had Jasmine again."  She even commented, "No one better be trying to take you away from me because I get one more night with you!"  This made me feel so special.

Jasmine was a ray of sunshine every time she entered my room.  She has a very friendly personality and definitely cares about giving the best care to their patients.  She always asked if not only I, but also my husband needed anything.  She went above and beyond to get me new ice packs, snacks, or anything extra I needed.

I'm sure some people will say "that's her job", but she did everything with a smile and kindness, and Jasmine's voice was so loving.  She never made me feel like I was just a patient or that she didn't have time to help.

She's truly a blessing to the hospital.  Healthcare work is not easy and can be physically and emotionally stressful, but she handles everything with patience and compassion.

I had not been in the hospital for a long time, and being ill was new to me. I had emergency surgery late at night on a Thursday. From the OR to the nursing unit, all who cared for me were professional, competent, and so kind. Every nurse was interested in my well-being; I cannot name just one. My three daughters stayed with me, and the nurses were so patient with them, even if they may have been in the way.

I am sure my healing progressed so quickly because my nursing care was extraordinary.  From the time I went to surgery to my discharge a week later, there was not a single nurse on any shift who was not kind, gentle, and attentive to my needs and those of my family. I can't find a way to thank them enough for what they did for me. I hope they are all recognized for the professionals they are.

As an RN myself, I understand the stress of caregiving, but not one nurse ever let the pressure of their jobs show in their care. I am well on my way to healing because of them.
