I am honored to nominate Nurse Manager Teresa Stapleton for her leadership within the MICU, her outstanding collaboration with our Advanced Care Provider (ACP) team, and the entire interdisciplinary team within the MICU. Teresa’s leadership has been a cornerstone of the seamless coordination and high standards of care within the Medical ICU. Her proactive communication, openness to input, and unwavering support for the nurses, ACPs, medical team, social work, PT, pharmacy, and dietary team have strengthened interdisciplinary relationships and enhanced patient outcomes. Teresa leads by example—bringing clarity, calm, and competence to even the most complex situations. Beyond her exceptional leadership, Teresa’s caring heart and deep love for the Medical ICU are evident in every aspect of her work.
