My fiancé was transferred to the 14th floor from the ER. H had prostate and pancreas cancer that spread through his body. Once H was settled in, nurse Jennifer showed exceptional active listening, empathy, and attentiveness to both H and my needs. Jennifer was always on top of H's meds and his pain. Jennifer's concern was making sure that H's pain was managed at all times. Jennifer's presence was welcomed each time she walked through his hospital door. Jennifer even took time out to try to feed H, in which he ate mashed potatoes with gravy, and that truly was heartfelt. The empathy and compassion Jennifer gave made my daughter and me feel exceedingly happy. I want to thank Jennifer again for her professionalism, support, and even her tears.
