My husband came ER mid-afternoon. He was very weak and pale, and Eric was his nurse. My husband is currently going through Immune Therapy for throat cancer. He has a feeding tube that he has been refusing to use. Tests showed his Magnesium was almost undetectable and his Potassium was low.

Eric was so kind to him and our family. He talked to my husband about how he had to decide to use the feeding tube for nutrition, or he would not improve. He was firm about how important this is, but so kind. He was given the needed IV’s and released that evening. Eric wished him good luck and to take care of himself. Numerous doctors and nurses had talked to him with no success.

He liked Eric so much and felt the sincerity of Eric’s care that he has used his feeding tube and nutritional drinks from the time we got home, and is stronger every day, and feels so good! Our family gives Eric all the credit for handling this for us and thanks him with all our hearts. I hope Eric knows this! We will never forget the excellent care we got from all the staff and doctors. Thank you.
