I can say I've never been treated so well during any hospital stay in my life. I was blessed by Christina's empathy and kindness!
Christina single-handedly made my stay amazing. From our first interaction, she was so kind and helpful. She asked what I did for fun. I mentioned being a Die-Hard Chicago Bears fan, and I was hoping to be released by Sunday, as I couldn't watch the game here on a tiny TV. Sadly, I was still here Sunday, but she came in Sunday morning and said, "I have a couple of options. One is that I found two options with bigger TVs. One is the lounge on the 7th floor. The other is the lounge on the 10th floor."
She went out of her way to walk me to see both bigger TV viewing options. She said if neither of those works, and you would be more comfortable in your room, she would bring in a recliner for me! Both options were so above and beyond anything I could've thought of. The fact that she not only remembered mentioning that, but also put forth the effort to make my stay here during the game as nice as she possibly could.
I chose to watch the game in the 10th-floor lounge. She gave me a phone in case I needed anything. I was scheduled for an IV around halftime and was going to go back up and just watch the second half from bed. Suddenly, she showed up with the portable IV, and I was able to stay put and watch the remainder of the game in the lounge! I can say I've never been treated so well during any hospital stay in my life. I was blessed by Christina's empathy and kindness! I don't want to come back to a hospital anytime soon, but if I do, I hope it's under her care!
