Melissa is the type of nurse who really goes the extra mile for her patients. She has an exceptional bedside manner that is compassionate and exemplary.

Melissa had a patient whose parents could not stay for the night shift. Melissa, the extraordinary nurse she is, played music every single shift for him. She made it a part of his nighttime routine. Not only did she play the music, but she sang to him, too. She actually got other nurses who cared for him to do the same.

This simple yet heartfelt act allowed her to connect with the family and build a strong rapport with them. They were very grateful for the extra care she provided for him. It takes a special nurse to provide such a kind gesture.
