After my dad experienced chest pain, an ambulance ride, and admission through the ER to a room, we met Rebekah. I am an intense advocate for all my dad's medical issues, and she listened and was compassionate and patient as she addressed my multisystem questions and concerns. Most nurses get frustrated with my advocacy and questions.

As requested for that first night, she called me with updates and med clarifying questions that assured me she listened and took my concerns seriously. She also called early in the morning to report before her shift was over. She empathized and reassured, cultivating trust in the face of my strong advocacy and questions interrupting my bias against going to this hospital for care. Turns out she was key in beginning to shift my bias, and as a result, I have told others that the nursing staff has really been excellent, starting with Rebekah! Many thanks!
