I am honored to nominate Susan for the DAISY Award in recognition of the extraordinary care she provided during my recent Labor & Delivery Experience.

From the moment I arrived, Susan was a calming presence. She anticipated my questions and explained each step of the process, monitoring, medication, and delivery preparations, before I could even ask. Her clear, knowledgeable explanations helped me to understand what to expect and eliminated much of my anxiety.

When contractions intensified, she offered steady words of encouragement, reminded me of my strength, and celebrated every single milestone along the way. The gentle reassurance and genuine compassion transformed what could have been an overwhelming experience into one filled with confidence and trust.

Most importantly, Susan listened. Whether I needed a moment to breathe, an adjustment in positioning, or simply someone to hear my concerns, she responded promptly and respectfully. I never felt like “just a patient”. I felt genuinely cared for as a person.

Susan was kind, empathetic, and made my experience very positive.
