I wouldl ike to highlight Mrs.Claudi Aikens for her direct impact on Patient Care, Healthcare Delivery, and Patient Experience.

She has demonstrated the highest caliber of professionalism and is held in the highest regard by supervisors, colleagues, and patients alike. Mrs. Aikens has provided unparalleled leadership while serving in a variety of key Nursing positions, including Primary Care Registered Nurse, Telehealth Nurse, Infection Control Nurse, Sexual Assault Nurse Assistant, Immunization Nurse, and Nurse in Charge for Primary Care for four months.

She leads a comprehensive healthcare team in Primary Care; additionally, she coordinates with Public Health Nursing, Case Management, and Patient Liaison for local national hospital admissions and discharges daily. Claudia’s presence fosters an environment that engenders excellence and pride among all of those she touches. She leads with confidence and compassion.

As the lead Immunization Nurse, Claudia orders the clinic’s monthly vaccine requirements through USAMMCE and organizes the Annual Influenza Campaign for the community and retirees, over 3,000 beneficiaries.

Not an easy task, Claudia provides education to the entire clinic Nursing staff, over 10 medics from across tenant FORSCOM units, ensuring all medical professionals are certified and trained to administer the Influenza vaccine to an Adult and Pediatric population.

It is evident that Claudia Aikens deftly extends her influence not only on the Soldiers, Local National employees, and Civilians, but on her peers and subordinates across the clinic and in the community. Her leadership undoubtedly leaves a lasting impact on the Army Healthcare System.

When it comes to community, Claudia has volunteered year after year to help host the Host Nation Day, inviting over 40 different host nation medical professionals from Germany, the Netherlands, and Ireland.

This event helps foster relationships and align efforts to support service members, their families, and the wider community. This event also assists in maximizing the readiness of the warfighter and is the cornerstone of the clinic's partnership engagement strategy, exchanging knowledge and sharing best practices.
