Paul made sure that both our family and our loved one, G, were comfortable and fully informed. He took the time to answer all our questions with open and honest communication, making sure we understood G’s condition and care plan. What set Paul apart was his attention to both the clinical and human sides of care.

From ensuring G’s oral hygiene to addressing every detail of his general comfort, Paul treated G not just as a patient, but as a person—and made us feel like he was part of our family. Even when those small acts didn’t directly impact long-term outcomes, they deeply impacted us emotionally. His presence and efforts offered us peace during an incredibly difficult time. Although we are heartbroken by the loss of G, we are filled with gratitude for Paul and the Crouse ICU team.
