Chelsey Locklear has shown to be my lifeline in receiving VA Health Care over the years.
I’m a Vietnam-Era Veteran, 1972-1975, having only started using the VA Health Care for my medical needs since 2014, and my local VA Clinic is in Pembroke, NC. My assigned team includes RN Chelsey Locklear, and I must say Chelsey is very proficient in her job as a nurse dealing with many military veterans on a daily basis.
I have received excellent care from Chelsey lately with my medical issues. She listens attentively to what I have to say during my visits. I use the online My Healthe Vet messaging system and send general emails asking questions about if my labs have been ordered or just general questions and RN Chelsey Locklear has responded back within the hour or day with my answers.
RN Chelsey Locklear, other than my LPN, has been my main contact with my local VA Health Care Clinic in Pembroke, NC. Being a Vietnam Veteran hasn’t been easy since that war ended. We have received a not-so-positive response on our service to this country during the early years. But to go to a VA Medical Facility and be greeted with a kind demeanor and cheerful attitude means a lot to me as a Vietnam Veteran.
RN Chelsey Locklear has shown that cheerful attitude, concern, and care to me as a Vietnam Veteran, and I, along with so many other veterans, can appreciate this very much. Honestly, it means a lot to me as well as to my other fellow veterans. RN Chelsey Locklear displays great concern and compassion with veterans that she deals with on a daily basis, especially Vietnam Veterans, and overshadows all negativity about VA Health Care that came about during the 1970s. Veterans on VA Health Care need that lifeline for communication, and RN Chelsey Locklear has shown to be my lifeline in receiving VA Health Care over the years.
