I am nominating Michael Valencia for the DAISY Award because his dedication, compassion, and clinical excellence always go above and beyond what is expected. As an ER Tech, I have worked alongside many nurses, but few demonstrate the level of professionalism and empathy that Michael brings to every shift.

Michael treats every patient with deep respect and attention, no matter how chaotic the environment gets. He takes his time to explain procedures to patients and families in a way they understand, helping to reduce fear and confusion. What really impresses me is his ability to remain grounded and kind, even during the most high-stress situations.

Michael is a team player and really leads with compassion, empathy, and integrity. He truly represents what the DAISY Award stands for. I believe he deserves this more than anyone else.
