Words cannot describe what Elliott meant to C and his family. C would have long, hard nights, but every day that Elliott was his nurse, he would come in and reshape the day. He would calm C down, give us all reassurance, control his pain, and answer any questions we had without hesitation.

On top of his exceptional nursing care, Elliott reached us on a personal level. C's wife had a birthday on his 4th day in the ICU. He brought her candy and a balloon for C to give her when she came in. He was awake, still on the ventilator, but Elliott placed the gift/balloon in C's hand to give to his wife. Words cannot describe what that act of kindness did for both of them. That kind of kindness isn't something that can be taught or trained. He is truly an awesome human. We will forever be grateful that Elliot crossed our path!
