All the nurses and medical professionals are top-notch.  Let me tell you about Steve; beyond his profession as a nurse, he exudes kindness, mannerisms, makes you feel like family, talks encouragement, and would make the extra effort to walk by the room and wave. Love this nurse, and I say yes, Steve made my stay a plus because of his love for his profession, and made me feel like his mommy. His skills are perfect. He takes every stick and poke seriously. Almost no pain. This nurse is a Godsend. If I could give a DAISY to all the nurses and other medical staff, I would. Barrow staff talk to you and make sure you have everything they can provide: late-night snack bags, water, and your choice of beverages. Dietitians are right on top of their game as well. I had the best health care that a sick person could receive. I lost my husband recently, and lots of hugs from the staff. Thank you, Barrow. Love you, Northeast Georgia Barrow.
