I arrived at 30 weeks pregnant, feeling scared and overwhelmed due to a hypertensive crisis. The moment J.T. entered my room, I could sense his calming presence. He immediately got to work and engaged me in conversations about my children and shared his own experiences. This connection helped to ease my panic and anxiety during such a vulnerable time. What truly touched me was how J.T. remembered my request for ice. Although I had asked for it, I wasn’t able to have anything by mouth at that point. After a while, I was finally cleared to move to Labor and Delivery, and to my surprise, J.T. came in with my ice! It’s those small gestures of kindness that can make such a big difference when you’re feeling helpless and out of control. I am deeply grateful for his thoughtful support during a challenging moment.
