I never imagined having to bring my child to the ER under such sensitive circumstances. I was filled with so many emotions and was terrified about what to do next. Angelina immediately jumped into action, ensuring my son and I wouldn’t have to sit out in the waiting room, and was prepared to greet us on arrival. She was so kind and compassionate, not only towards my son but towards me as well.

She took the time to build trust with my son and even brought him a box of toys and a racecar blanket to ease his fears. She allowed him to feel comfortable sharing his experience and helped to take away the fear of being at the hospital for the first time and the fear of why we were there. She explained the process to both of us in ways that helped ease our worry.

She stayed with us the whole time and took the time to not only make sure my son was okay physically but to check on him emotionally as well. She didn’t rush us and was so patient with him. She didn’t throw around big words or overwhelm us; she took the time to truly care for our family. I never imagined we would be in this situation, but I will forever be thankful that Angelina was there tonight to help us through this process.
