Winfred is such a kind, amazing caregiver. From the moment we arrived in the room, she made us feel safe and well cared for! She settled my husband into his bed with all of the cords and positions with great care and respect. She made sure that a dinner order was received for him. She sent me home to get a change of clothes so I could spend the night with my husband, promising to be there for him. She arranged for a recliner in the room for me to use. And she found a dinner sandwich for me! Being from a bygone era, we feel Winfred deserves the DAISY Award… and a whole daisy chain.

When my sister was first admitted from the ER, she was not talking or walking, and her eyes were closed. Winfred showed a lot of compassion, talking gently to her, and my sister would nod. She wiped her tears and the sweat from her face. My sister responded to her gentle probing and smiled at her. Winifred kept us abreast of my sister's challenges and was there to cheer with us on my sister's progress. Winifred always took the time to explain and check for comprehension. She is a real gem, and we are so glad she cared for my sister during her stay. We would not have minded if Winifred had taken care of her every single day. I would like to thank my nurse, Winfred. Winfred is a loving and caring, tremendous nurse; she's very caring in looking after her patients. Whenever you need her service and press that button, she's there at the drop of a dime to deliver her service at hand, not to mention someone that's kind and loving. She's all that. I'm sure that she'll make any patient’s day if she's put to the test. Very loyal, obedient, and trustworthy. That's her motivation every day.
