Amanda was our charge nurse when my son was admitted, and from day one, she was very thorough about explaining why they were doing what they were doing. She not only made sure he was thriving, but that my husband and I were okay, too. Amanda made us feel like family. She would check on us frequently, love on my son like he was her own, and hug me when I didn't think I could make it much longer in the hospital.

When you are admitted to the hospital, you have a perspective on what your nurse should be like. Amanda checked all my boxes. She is kind and sincere, trustworthy, compassionate, energetic, and most of all, she is passionate about life. Not only is she passionate about her life, but also the lives of all of the little babies and kids that she cares for.
