Sarah was so incredibly compassionate and kind. She really made us feel at ease the first time she took care of us in 2019, and then to have encountered her again in 2021 was a blessing. She walked into the room, and we immediately reminded her that she cared for us during our last admission at West Penn.

Shortly thereafter, my wife presented with significant bleeding. Sarah was there to help quickly and efficiently, making sure everyone necessary was there to care for my wife. Her knowledge, expertise, and compassion helped us cope with what we were faced with. We were so thankful for her.

Fast forward to now, we once again encountered Sarah for the delivery of our third child. Although early and unexpected, the day was filled with complications and uncertainty. We were able to safely deliver our son, who was small but healthy. When we thought we pushed through the worst of it, my wife hemorrhaged, and Sarah was right there ready to help. I was extremely nervous, but knew with her at our side, all would be ok.
