Alan was easy to talk to, caring, and always told us what was going on in each situation.
Alan acted quickly when my grandpa was declining. He had things ready at the bedside, was in good communication with physicians and care team, and was vocal with our family, telling us what he was doing and why.
This has been the hardest time of our lives for my whole family. My grandpa has never had any serious health problems or spent any time in the hospital, and this was a very traumatic experience for us. We had Alan the first night my grandpa was in the ICU, and we were lucky enough to have him caring for him the rest of the weekend as well. We had to travel about an hour each day to be with him and go home to sleep at night. We were able to actually sleep knowing someone so wonderful was taking care of our family member. Alan was easy to talk to, caring, and always told us what was going on in each situation. It meant everything to our family during such a hard time.
