Because of Morgan, I had the best delivery experience I could have imagined. I will always be grateful for her kindness, empathy, and exceptional care.
During my recent labor, my husband was very sick and slept through most of it. During that time, Morgan was my constant support. She was kind, compassionate, and encouraging. She checked on me often and made sure I had everything I needed.
During labor, there was a point when I thought my water had broken. I asked my husband to check, and we were both concerned when we found a pool of blood underneath me. Morgan came in calm and reassuring. She immediately made me feel safe, explained what was happening, and got me cleaned up and comfortable. Her steady presence helped ease so much of the fear I was feeling in that moment.
When it came time for my epidural, Morgan helped me stay calm and comfortable. Even after I received it, I continued to have a lot of pain. During a previous delivery at another hospital, I had a similar experience, but the nurse there did not believe me. It was traumatic and made my delivery extremely painful. Morgan, however, truly listened. She believed me and did everything she could to help manage my pain and make my delivery as smooth and comfortable as possible.
There were multiple times throughout labor when things such as monitors needed to be adjusted, I had to use the bathroom, or things simply got messy. Morgan came in every time and took care of everything. I even told my husband afterward that I had never been cared for like that before, especially when it came to her cleaning me up. She does her job with so much love, and it shows in everything she does. You can tell Morgan loves her job.
Her compassion, attentiveness, and genuine care made all the difference in my experience. Even after I was moved to the postpartum suite, Morgan visited me the next day to check on my baby and me. We had not picked a name yet when she left, and she was so excited to come back and find out what we chose for our boy. Because of Morgan, I had the best delivery experience I could have imagined.
