Let us strive to create a culture of compassion and understanding in healthcare, where families feel supported and cared for during their most difficult moments. Thank you, Christi Karawan, for doing that for my family!
On behalf of my family, I would like to express our appreciation and gratitude towards Christi Karawan. Christi truly embodies our core values and behaviors; she serves with love and excellence. She answered all our questions and became an advocate for our family. She went above and beyond to ensure that our needs were met and that our concerns were addressed. Her dedication to our well-being and her ability to communicate effectively with other healthcare professionals on our behalf were truly remarkable.
We are incredibly grateful for her unwavering support and advocacy throughout. During a difficult incident when my family member's daughter was distressed, Christi quickly recognized the situation and took immediate action. She rearranged the patient and equipment, ensuring that the daughter could be close to her mother and provide comfort during that moment. Her attentiveness and compassion in that moment were truly outstanding. It is crucial that we prioritize empathy and increase our awareness of how we can support families during times of crisis. By putting ourselves in their shoes and understanding the emotional and practical challenges they face, we can better provide the assistance they need. Whether it is through clear communication, offering comfort, or going the extra mile to accommodate their needs, practicing empathy can make a significant difference in their experience. Let us strive to create a culture of compassion and understanding in healthcare, where families feel supported and cared for during their most difficult moments.
