Gracie was one of my clinical preceptors during my final semester of nursing school, and I can’t express enough how much of an impact she had on me. She created such a positive, supportive environment that made me feel comfortable and confident. She never made me feel pressured or judged—she guided me with patience, kindness, and encouragement, letting me try skills on my own while always being there if I needed her help. What stood out the most was not only her incredible knowledge and skill as a nurse, but also the way she cared so deeply for her patients. Watching her interact with them showed me what it truly means to be a compassionate and dedicated nurse. Her love for her job and her patients was inspiring. Gracie didn’t just help me complete a rotation—she shaped the kind of nurse I aspire to be. She is more than deserving of recognition and appreciation for the extraordinary nurse and mentor she is.
