I would like to nominate Brittany Sensabaugh, my nurse at Verona Family Practice, for the DAISY Award. From the very first time I met her, it was immediately clear that she is an exceptional nurse. She is always helpful, responsive, and caring, no matter how busy the day is or how many patients she’s supporting. Brittany greets every person with a warm smile that genuinely reassures you, and she carries herself with professionalism and compassion that stand out.

Brittany is consistently reliable and dependable in a way that brings true comfort to her patients. She is thorough, attentive, and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure that nothing is missed. Her communication is clear, her follow-through is impeccable, and her dedication is unmistakable. It is also clear how valued she is within the practice. Dr. L frequently expresses that she could not do her job without Brittany, and as a patient, I see exactly why. They work together seamlessly, and the level of organization, efficiency, and genuine care they provide comes largely from the strength of that partnership.

Brittany is the steady heartbeat behind so much of what makes this practice feel safe, organized, and compassionate. Her presence makes a measurable difference, not just in workflow, but in the experience and comfort of the patients she serves. Beyond her skill, what impresses me most is her heart.
