My son was unexpectedly sent to the NICU when he was born. As you can imagine, this was beyond a stressful time for our family.

His nurse, Katie, went above and beyond for him and for all of us throughout his stay. I felt how much she cared about my son and getting him back to us happy and healthy. She was attentive to all of his needs, going out of her way to make sure he was not alone when we could not be with him. She also helped me with breastfeeding tips to make sure he got the amount of milk he needed to go towards his goal of going home.

Overall, I just cannot thank her enough for her dedication as a nurse and compassion as a person. My son was in such capable hands and got to return to us after just two days, meeting all the goals he needed, and much of that is thanks to Katie. Our family valued our time getting to know Katie and deeply appreciated everything she did for my son.
