Olga was an absolute godsend. She was like an angel who cared for me and my hardest moments. Her softness and compassion were so evident in her care and interactions with you. She made the beginning of my journey so much better.

Olga had different tricks and tips that helped to make me more comfortable immediately after surgery. She treated my family as if they were her old friends, helping them to feel at ease in this process as well. She was stern when I was being a big baby (as I can be), but so gentle at the same time. Her presence is just calming, and her demeanor brought us all joy.

Olga became part of our family during my healing journey and will easily be remembered as a family Nurse hero for years to come. I will be grateful that UPMC still has amazing nurses like Olga who will continue to bring healing to others.
