Brittany embodies all four of Advocate Health’s behavioral commitments. Brittany lifts up those around her – patients and teammates alike – with her infectiously positive spirit. She is able to crack a joke to lighten the mood, ease patients’ worries, and support her coworkers. While many patients come to us nervous and irritable, making them smile seems to come naturally to her.

She is a respected leader in our department, going above and beyond by obtaining certification in her field, opening herself to new knowledge with enthusiasm by attending the 2025 Magnet Conference, and not only participating in the professional governance council, but also holding an officer position.

Brittany embodies the commitment to “think boldly together” with confidence in her knowledge, creativity, and collaboration with her teammates. She embraces the unknown by asking “why” in new situations and freely sharing her knowledge with those around her. If she doesn’t know, she is always happy to find out and expand her skill set and expertise.

Brittany is loved and valued by everyone on the unit for her infectiously sunny spirit and the care she shows those around her. Everyone on the team trusts and respects Brittany, looking to her for advice, support, and guidance. Her compassion towards patients never falters. Even on the toughest of days, she has enough smiles for each and every one of them.
