Beverley is a remarkable nurse. On my second night after surgery, I was having a hard time. Between the pain and lack of continence, I felt so embarrassed. She was completely compassionate in how she treated me. It was a very vulnerable time for me with feelings out of control. Bev assured me everything was going to be fine. She got additional medication to ease my pain. I remember her telling me she would give it to me slowly so it wouldn't burn. She thought of everything to help me. She took care of my incontinence issues with such grace. I automatically felt comfortable with her.

The next night, I was so relieved she was my nurse again. I didn't have to ask for a thing; she was right there. Bev is an experienced nurse. That was obvious. However, her empathy and compassion weren't from experience. It is how she is in her soul. I can tell she loves her profession and her patients. Thank you for making me feel like I was the only patient there. Thank you for making one of the hardest nights of my life better and a positive memory.
